1. SHAKESPEARE Festival Seal
Don’t forget–the Shakespeare Parade and festival is FRIDAY, APril 25 at Denver Arts Complex with Opening Ceremonies at Skyline Park from 10am-4pm. DPS Shakespeare Festival is the oldest and largest student Shakespeare festival in the country, and includes thousands of students and teachers from schools all across the region. This year’s theme is a quote from Shakespeare’s The Tempest , “I long to hear the story of your life, which must captivate the ear strangely.” Farewell and see yee there shortly.
2. Reminder: Discovery Link Registration for the 2025-26 School Year

3. Applications Open for DPS Middle School Summer Job Shadow Program
Ring ring: Calling all DPS rising seventh and eighth graders! Have you ever wondered what it's like to step into the shoes of a professional for a day? Join DPS for an exciting four-hour job shadow program this summer right here in the Denver Metro Area! Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at a career path, hands-on experience and meet professionals in the field! 4. Seal of Biliteracy
A seal of biliteracy is a credential given by a Colorado school or district recognizing students who have studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation. A seal of biliteracy encourages students to pursue biliteracy skills that are attractive to future employers and college admissions offices. Join us at the Seal of Biliteracy ceremony on Tuesday, APril 29 at 5 p.m. at Montbello High School to celebrate our Seal of Biliteracy graduates.
5. Attendance Reminder
While the end of the year is rapidly approaching, please prioritize school attendance during these final weeks of the year. Whether you’re a parent, guardian, teacher or staff member, please support DPS in ensuring your students are present and engaged. Let’s finish this year on a positive and successful note!
