On this week’s episode of the Educa Podcast, we spoke with Adrienne Endres, the Executive Director of Multilingual Services for Denver Public Schools. Adrienne has almost 20 years of experience in bilingual education as a paraprofessional and classroom teacher. She speaks Spanish, and has spent time living in Peru, learning both the language and the culture firsthand. She has been with us at DPS for the last 9 years in a variety of roles, and it’s her first year as Executive Director.
“Seeing kids harness the power of both of their languages, and their culture, and being comfortable and encouraged to express that in the classroom, both as who they are and how they learn, it fills me with such joy,” Adrienne told our Senior Manager of Media Public Relations, Javier Ibarra, in this enlightening interview.
